Ronald H. Flora, 79, went to his heavenly home on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 6:15 am.
Ronald was born in Peru on April 30, 1938 to Harold and Naomi (Runkle) Flora (deceased). He married Charlotte Rosetta (Rosie) Murphy Flora on September 8, 1962 and she survives. He is also survived by his children Annette (Phil) Phillippo, Peru; Mark (Rhonda Roark) Flora, Elkhart; and Michael (Tami Miller) Flora. Also, grandchildren: Carol Perkins, Kaci Hubler, Dustin Jones (Cassie Herrick), Bobbie (Marcus) Brown, Kasey Jones (Jamie Williams), and 10 great-grandchildren. Also, two sisters: Joyce Stoner, Flora, IN, and Carla Shell, Peru.
Ronald was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Above everything else, he loved fishing, camping and traveling with family and friends. Ronald attended Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Peru.
Family and friends may call from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00am with Pastor Rick Tolley and Pastor Bud Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
