Margaret Loraine (Adams) Wood

Margaret L. Wood, age 92 of Clovis, California passed away peacefully on February 10th surrounded by family. Margaret grew up in Peru, Indiana and after marriage and children moved to Long Beach, California in 1962. Margaret later moved to Clovis, California and began working in the medical field. She worked for Dr. Lee Copeland and Dr. Mark Goticksen, retiring at age 85 as an X-ray Technician working for Peachwood Medical Group. Margaret enjoyed reading, crocheting, time with family and rescuing feral kittens and cats.  Margaret will be dearly missed, always remembered, and is safely in heaven with her Savior now.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband Bud Wood, her mother and father Lee and Geneva Adams, her older brother Abee Adams, and two sisters Ginny and Caroline Adams. Margaret is survived by her two sons Bruce Wood and Rick Wood, her sister Evelyn Rowley, and six grandchildren, David and Brooke Wood, Peter Wood, Melinda and Steven Weaver, Holly and Clayton Potter, Dwayne Wood and Justin and Wood, and nine great grandchildren, Tanner, Ryder, Matthew, Wyatt, Emelia and Ava, Zoe and Revolution, and Arlo.

Margaret requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Margaret’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana on Saturday, February 25, at 11am.
