Barbara Lowe

Barbara A Lowe, 66, passed peacefully on Monday, January 3rd, 2022.

She was born October 9, 1955 in Peru, Indiana to Richard and Peggy Smith. Barbara married the love of her life, Carl Lowe, June 14th, 1975. 

Barbara worked for First Farmers Bank & Trust, in loan servicing, until her retirement June 1st, 2021. 

She is survived by her mother Peggy Smith, of Peru; brother Melvin (Lauren) Smith, sister, Kay (Moe) Stevens; daughter Kristina (Justin) Hiers; granddaughter Kellen Hiers and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lowe and her father, Richard Smith.

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. 3rd St. Peru, Indiana on Wednesday, January 12th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow with Andrew Hilbun officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, in Peru, Indiana.
