Zalene E. Hawk found peace with her heavenly father on December 4, 2023 at Brickyard Sycamore Village in Kokomo, Indiana.

She was born on October 24, 1940 in Fulton, Indiana to James and Burness Reyburn. Zalene spent her life in Peru except for the last 3 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Shawn (Mike) Blackowiak, son, Erick (Lori) Hawk, granddaughter, Leslie (Bryce) Cline, grandson, Zachary McBride, step-grandson, Joseph Blackowiak, and great grandsons, Flynn and Odin Cline.

She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am- 12:00pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm with Rev. George McCarty officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
