William Thomas Foust of rural Peru, died at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne on Thursday February 27th, 2025. Born in Wabash, Indiana to parents John Foust and Robyn (Bell)Bohlander in the summer of 1986. William who went by several nicknames such as Bill, Willie, Billy, and others was unexpected from birth. He was a Shriners Kid enduring over 20 corrective surgeries all before adulthood.
Loving sports as a kid, his passions then grew into a love of hunting and wildlife. He was a 2005 graduate of Maconaquah High School. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and working at his father’s campground.
He traveled the United States as a videographer in the early 2010s. His greatest achievement in life was becoming a Christian and accepting Jesus Christ into his heart. Cats were his favorite animals often rescuing them. He owned over 35 throughout his lifetime.
William is survived by his companion Megan McKnight(Peru), his son Trevor Dickerhoff (Wabash), his parents John(Tina) Foust (Peru), and Robyn(Brian) Bohlander (Summitville.) Also survived by his siblings Heather(Brett)Vanlandingham (Connecticut), Haley(Levi) Holmes (Wabash), Hannah Bennie (Gas City), Jade(Josh) Michaels (Ft. Wayne), Cody(Marissa) Bohlander (Jonesboro), paternal grandfather Paul Foust (Peru), maternal grandmother Nancy Bell (Wabash), countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is proceeded in death by paternal grandmother Augusta Foust, and maternal grandfather Billy Bell.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will take place at 1pm on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Peoria Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made towards funeral expenses.
