Vickie (Shrock) Clemons

Vickie ( Shrock ) Clemons, 67, of Peru, Indiana passed away Monday August 22nd 2022 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne where she lost her battle to Multiple sclerosis.

She was born March 10th 1955 in Elwood Indiana to the late Daniel and Della (McPhearson) Shrock. She was 1 of 10 children and was preceded in death by her siblings Tom Shrock, Dolly Shrock, and Mary Ann Shrock. Surviving include Bert( Ron) Wright of Peru, Dave Shrock of Peru, Ed Shrock of Illinois , Marcia (Martin) Williams of Elkhart, Bud( Velvet) Shrock of Peru, and  Matt(Becky) Shrock of Peru. Vickie had four sons two of which preceded her in death, James F. Spencer and Michael T. Spencer both of Peru. Surviving sons include Edward (Trista) Clemons of Peru and Jerry Lee Clemons Jr. of Oklahoma. She was a wonderful grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 6. She also had several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed fishing, music, planting flowers, cooking, and spending time with family in friends.

Rather you called her Mom, Aunt Vick, Grandma, Sis, or just friend when she said she loved you you could feel it. Maybe it was the hug she gave you on your worst day. It might have been some early morning coffee or a warm meal. It could have been the smile on her face or the laughter that always came from around the kitchen table. Whatever the memory; the feeling of love she left with us is her legacy. She may have left this Earth but who she is, what she taught us, and how she made us feel will never be forgotten and we will forever be grateful.
