Vicki Lynn (Whitaker) Shell

Vicki Lynn Shell, age 73, passed away on July 27, 2022.

She was born to Arlie and Vernon Whitaker on November 29, 1948 in West Van Lear, Kentucky. Both parents are deceased. November 12, 1966 she married Henry Shell, he passed away August 9, 2020.

Vicki is survived by 4 children; Shirley (Tim) Page, Amboy, Leanne (Mike) Featherstone, Peru, John Shell, Peru, Lee Shell, Peru. She has two deceased children, Bill Shell, Peru, and Kristy Hegel, Peru. Vicki has seven grandchildren surviving, Jake Walker, Jami Stewart, Michael Page, Zack Page, Hannah Abercrombie, Emily Featherstone, Clayton Hegel and 1 grandchild is deceased, Kyle Page. Vicki's grandchildren will be the pallbearers. Vicki is survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Vicki is survived by 4 siblings; Anita Gail (Keith), Kentucky, Kenny, Tennessee, Bonnie (Chuck), Peru, and Patsy, Amboy. She has 4 siblings preceding her. Skip, Arlene, Donna, and Karen.

Vicki worked and retired from Square D. When she wasn't working, you could find her outside, planting flowers or just sitting on the porch. When she wasn't outside, Vicki would be sewing. She made her own curtains and some blankets. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Vicki was a very loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral will follow at 1pm with Pastor Jeff Sumner officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
