Travis Allen Gunning

Travis Allen Gunning, 40, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

He was born November 2, 1984 in Peru, Indiana to Jeffery Allen Gunning and Melinda (Ray) Gunning. He married Jennette (Phillips) Gunning on August 6, 2006 and then divorced June 9, 2009 and she survives.

Travis worked at C.W. as a maintenance technician until he passed.

He loved Seinfeld. He also loved working and detailing cars. Travis was a sweet loving soul. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to have fun and be a goofball. He was a good son, husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his former wife he is also survived by his children Nickolas Allen Gunning of Peru, Jaquelyn Marie Gunning of Peru. And two granddaughters Blakelee-Nicole Marie Mosley of Peru and Aubrie Grace Marie Mosley of Peru.

Travis is also survived by his half sister Jennifer (Gunning) Reid of Russiaville.

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana on June 28, 2025 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 4:00pm with Pastor Mark Elliott officiating.
