Thomas Appleton Obituary

Thomas Roger Appleton, 88, of Peru passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru.

He was born in Camden, Indiana on March 31, 1931 to Orland Miles Appleton and Marie Briney (Robbins) Appleton. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Navy. He married Rose Begley, and she survives. Thomas retired from IBM as a mechanic after 32 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Rose, as well as his children: Debbie (Bob) Walker of Equador, Cindy (Larry) Paul of California, Linda Bair of Oregon, and Jim (Pooh) Appleton of California; as well as several grandchildren, and a brother, Robert “Bob” (Marcia) Appleton of Peru, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Joe Appleton and John Appleton.

No public services are planned.
