Susannah Cheyenne (Martin) Truax

Susannah Cheyenne (Martin) Truax passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023.

She was born on August 25, 1996 in Greenfield, Indiana to Anessa Zoe (Brooks) Mosiman and step-father, David Mosiman.

Cheyenne was a 2015 graduate of Mt. Vernon where she participated in FFA. She was employed through Indiana Mentors and Smithfield. Cheyenne was also on the Mexico Fire Department.

She is survived by her grandparents; Verle L. Brooks and Brenda (Rapp) of McCordsville, Indiana and Jim Martin of Lapel, Indiana, parents, sisters; Hannah Joy Mosiman, Kristen Mosiman of Tennessee, and Keeley Goss of Mitchell, Indiana, her significant other, Eric Thompson, and his parents, Lori Bianco and Darrell Thompson, aunt, Dawn Gilmore of Hartford, Kentucky, Cody Gilmore of Owensboro, Kentucky, Matthew Gilmore of Philpot, Kentucky, and uncle, Nathan Brooks of Shelbyville, Indiana.

Cheyenne is preceded in death by her uncle, Garth Brooks.

Visitation will be held from 4pm to 7pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru on Friday, September 22, 2023. The funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11am. Internment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Mexico Fire Department or the American Cancer Society.
