Susanna (Townsend) Stewart

Susanna Stewart, 77, of Peru passed away at her residence on Monday, October 13, 2025.

She was born in Denver, Indiana to the late James Frank and Evelyn (Sutton) Townsend.

Susanna enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo.

She is survived by her children; Bobby Depoy Jr., and Jesse Depoy, both of Peru, grandchildren; Shaina Legg, Steven Townsend, and Devon Depoy, several great grandchildren, a brother, Jimmy Townsend of Peru, and sisters, Judy Sutton of Peru and Kathy Drake of Kentucky.

Susanna is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sondra Depoy, and siblings; Frank Townsend, Joe Townsend, Donnie Townsend, Ruth Sopher, and Barbara Townsend.

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru from noon to 2pm on Friday, October 17, 2025. The funeral service will follow at 2pm. Interment will take place at Westlawn Cemetery in Denver, Indiana.
