Steven D. Ogden

April 22, 1958 to March 23, 2023

Steven D. Ogden went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne after a brief illness.  He was 64.  Born to Dale and Sharron (Hudson) Ogden at Camp Zama, Japan, he graduated Peru High School in 1976.  He attended Butler University and Indiana University.  He retired as a health and life insurance underwriter from American United Life.

He is survived by his mother, Sharron Ogden, Peru, his daughter Paige (Carl), grandsons Ronan and Wyatt Refsell, Belleville, Wisconsin, stepson Dean Verleger (Krista) Portland, Oregon, and his companion of twenty years Vicki Draper, Peru.  He is also survived by several cousins in the area.

Steven attended Butler University and Indiana University.  He loved world traveling, reading and collecting firearms.

Respects may be paid at Flowers Leedy Funeral Home from 11am to 1pm on Friday, March 31.  Services will begin at 1 pm with Pastor Dave Ross officiating. Steven will be interred at Mount Hope Cemetery.
