Sharon Sue (Leedy) Nutt

Sharon Sue (Leedy) Nutt, “Sue” 79 passed away at Lutheran Hospital on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Sue was born February 17, 1942 in Miami County. She graduated from Deedsville High School in 1960. She attended the Baptist Church in Denver, IN and enjoyed baking, sewing, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Bradley and Alisa Shultz Nutt, Bryan and Brenda Nutt, Ellen and Joe Maxwell, and Tim and Devan Nutt; 18 grandchildren and their spouses, Natalie and Brandon Hall, Jared and Kayla VanNess Nutt, Chrisie and Christopher Larson, Craig and Alexis Nutt, Cale and Maria Nutt, Kayla and Dusty Mohr, Nicole Donaldson, Alaura Nutt, Madisyn Nutt, Linzie Nutt, Charlyse Nutt, Timothy Nutt, James Nutt, Karly Nutt, Daniel Nutt, Isaiah Nutt, Silas Nutt and Benjamin Nutt; and 12 great-grandchildren, Trey Mettler, Jace Hall, Madilyn Hall, Parker Nutt, Hadley Nutt, Ava Nutt, Blake Nutt, Jadyn Nutt, Samuel Nutt, Kennedy Mohr, Kolton Mohr, and Reagan Larson. Also surviving are brothers Tom Leedy (wife Beth Anne) of Peru, and Stan Leedy (companion Karma) of Plymouth; and sisters Jane Deeds (husband Bob Sonne) of Deedsville, Rose Marek (husband Frank) of Peru, and Sara Stokes of Washington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Nutt, her parents Joseph and Ellen Leedy, brothers Roger, Jerry, Steve, and Wes; and sisters Ardis, and Mary Ann.

Viewing and funeral services will be held at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Viewing services will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 and Sunday November 14, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with funeral services at 2:00 pm and burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
