On Sunday, July 4, 2021, Scott Anthony Harrison, loving husband and father of two, passed away at the age of 56.
Scott was born on October 19, 1964 in Flint, Michigan to James and Alice (Gentry) Harrison. He was a Department of Corrections employee for 11 ½ years. He also worked at Logansport State Hospital for 5 ½ years. He married Bobbi (Wilcox) on March 28, 1987. They raised a daughter, Melinda McCann (David McCann spouse) and a son, Nathan (Brittany McClean girlfriend).
Scott had a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was a licensed minister. He founded Matthew 25 Ministries through Apostolic Revival Center. He was constantly giving to anyone in need, often times giving his last dollar. Scott was known for his impersonations of Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Popeye, and many others. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Scott was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Doug.
He is survived by his wife Bobbi, his two children, six grandchildren, his sister (Cathy Rodgers), his brother (Rick Harrison), an aunt, uncles, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11am at Apostolic Revival Center, 307 Wampler Street, Peru, Indiana. Family viewing will begin at 10am, with visitation following the service. Pastor Chris Reed will officiate.
