Ruth Emma (Rose) Bowman

Ruth Emma Bowman, 91, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana.

She was born on October 28, 1933 to William and Gertrude (Osborn) Rose in Amboy, Indiana. Ruth held several different jobs throughout  the years. She worked at W. C. Redmons Basket Factory, Burko Electric, and also Kuepper Favor Company. She enjoyed doing crafts and cross stiching.

Ruth is survived by her four daughters: Kimberly (Larry) Black of Macy, Indiana, Timara (Mike) Hook of Illinois, Denna (Willie) Bowen of California, and Teresa Vearrier of South Dakota. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her three sisters: Flossie Phillips, Mary Reynolds, and Dorothy Matyas.

Per Ruth’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00am at Parklawn Cemetery in Amboy, Indiana.
