Rusty Perry, 51, of Peru, IN went to his eternal home unexpectedly on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
Rusty was born in Lafayette, Indiana on October 14, 1969. His parents are Marvin and Pauletta (Allen) Perry. He attended North White elementary school and graduated from Pioneer Jr. Sr. High School in 1988. After graduation, he worked as a Supervisor at Wabash National. He later moved to Winamac and worked various construction jobs. He moved to Peru, Indiana in 2006 and worked as a CNA. In his later years, he worked at FCA Chrysler Casting Plant in Kokomo.
Rusty was blessed with a large family and he enjoyed spending time with those that he loved. It didn’t matter if it was hitting the putting green with his father and brothers or romping on the ground with his kids or grandkids. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and hunting. He enjoyed sitting by the fire and listening to music. He loved playing cards and watching movies.
Surviving family include his loving wife Wendy (Moore) Perry. His ten adoring children and nine grandchildren. His daughters, Kayla (Kiel) Ulery, Natasha (Aaron) Benedict, Alyssa (Quinton) Burgus, Nicole Perry, Taylor Perry, Katelyn Perry, Adrianna, and Trinity Perry. His sons include Justin Garrett and Brenden Perry. He was a grandfather to Parker, Jace and Addison Ulery, Chloie, Elaina, Elijah and Isaiah Benedict, Ace Burgus and Amaya Voland.
Rusty is survived by his mother Pauletta and his father Marvin. His surviving siblings include Jodi (Dago) Perry, Shawn (Sasha) Perry, Brett (Bre) Perry, Shelley Brown, and Eric (Danielle) Perry.
He is also survived by numerous, in-laws, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Viewing will be held from 3pm-7pm on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the funeral home, with Pastor Matthew Flenar officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face covering will be required and social distancing guidelines will be observed at the funeral home.
