Roxanne "Roxy" Cecelia JaJo

Roxanne (Roxy) Cecilia Jajo, 73, of Peru, Indiana passed away peacefully at her favorite place, her home, August 17, 2025.  She was born June 30, 1952, in Bay City, Michigan to Stanley B. Jajo and Viola (DeShano) M. Jajo. She loved crocheting blankets for family and friends as well as painting pictures, canning tomatoes, playing Yatzee and Euchre!  Just to name a few of her interests. She was a member of East Point Bible Church in Peru, Indiana.  She loved her church family very much!  Roxy was a caregiver for many family members and others as well. She touched many lives through her own caring, funny and fun loving ways!  She loved to fish and did quite well at it too! 

She was survived by her immediate family members.  Her two much loved sons, James Richard McDowell and Scott Michael McDowell, her two sisters, Darlene Jajo and Chick Jajo, two brothers, Nick LaSota, and Greg LaSota.

Roxy is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Jerome Jajo, Eugene Jajo, Thad Jajo and Terry Jajo.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 3:00pm at East Point Bible Church, 1540 East Paw Paw Pike, Peru, Indiana 46970 with Pastor Jim Butler officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family in care of Darlene Jajo, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana 46970.
