Rosemary Puckett
July 4, 1929 – January 25, 2026
Rosemary Puckett, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, love, and kindness. Born on July 4, 1929, in Princeton, Illinois, Rosemary’s life was a testament to her devotion to God, her family, and her community.
On April 12, 1956, Rosemary joined hands in holy matrimony with her devoted husband, Russell H. Puckett. Their union reflected God’s enduring love and grace.
Rosemary’s days were marked by her steadfast faith, her gentle wisdom, and her unwavering commitment to serving others. She was a faithful member of The First Church of Christ in Peru, offering her time and talents in service to her congregation and community. Her family remembers her for her nurturing spirit, her thoughtful guidance, and the prayers she faithfully lifted for those she loved. All who knew her felt the warmth of her embrace and the peace of her presence—gifts she attributed to her deep and abiding faith.
Rosemary is survived by: Cheryl & Shane Lowe from Peru; Michal & Lisa Puckett from South Fulton Tennessee; Russell & Sandra Puckett from Peru; Steven Puckett & three grandchildren from Swayzee; Kaycee & Patrick Kendall from Swayzee; Marcus & Kayla Potts from Lone Oak Kentucky; Britany Potts from Paducah Kentucky; as well as six great grandchildren. Rosemary is reunited in heaven with her husband Russell, daughter Deborah, and parents.
As we mourn Rosemary’s passing, we rejoice that she now rests in the arms of our Savior and is reunited with loved ones. May her faith and love continue to guide and inspire us until we meet again in God’s heavenly kingdom. “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
