Ronald Lee Krabbe

Ronald Lee Krabbe, 77, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021.

He was born in Peru, Indiana on August 7, 1943 to Edward and Mary Krabbe.  He was a Peru High School graduate, and served in the United States Air Force.  He later retired from the Norfolk & Western Railroad.  Ron enjoyed photography, playing racquetball, and watching basketball.

He is survived by his brother, Kenny (Joann) of Indianapolis, as well as his first wife, Gloria, and their two daughters, Michelle Krabbe of Chandler, Arizona, and Maria (Terry) Correll of Macy, Indiana.  Also surviving are step-grandsons Bailey and Brody Correll of Peru, and step-great-grandson Carter Correll.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Susan (2010), and three half siblings, Raymond, Rosemary, and Gene.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana, with Pastor George McCarty officiating.  Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport, Indiana.  Military service will be provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Miami County YMCA.
