September 25th , 1938 – October 20th, 2023
Ronald (Ronnie) S. Aaron, 85, of Bunker Hill, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home on the evening of Friday, October 20th.
Ronnie graduated from Clay Township High School in 1957. He went on to work at Haynes International for over 30 years as a machinist.
No one who met Ronnie forgot his infectious passion for music. Known for being a skillful musician, he graced audiences with his gifted singing and banjo accompaniment. He often played in ‘jam sessions’ with his siblings and a local barbershop quartet. Ronnie was also quite an outdoorsman, fond of fishing, hunting, and golf. He always looked forward to his Florida vacations and spending time with his family.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Harriet (Hankins) Aaron and by his loving wife, Carolyn (Baker) Aaron. He is also preceded by his siblings Betty Runk, Robert Aaron, Jack Aaron, Paul Aaron, and Judy Hahn. Ronald is survived by his daughter Pamela Aaron Joachim (George) of Auburn, his two grandchildren, Cali and Carric Joachim, and sister, Janet Timberman (William) of Kokomo. Ronnie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend gratitude to Ronnie’s caregiver, Kathy Cross, for her tender love and care.
Ronnie was the light in so many lives, brightening so many days with his smile. He was in good spirits until the end of his time. Ronnie’s sense of humor and big heart will be remembered by all who knew him.
