Robert "Bob" Nolan Marquell

Robert “Bob” Nolan Marquell, 83, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Blair Ridge Health Campus.

He was born on January 23, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio to Ralph and Marie (Gaither) Marquell. Bob joined the United States Army on February 28, 1964 and served his country thru February 27, 1967. Bob married Catherine (Howland) on June 8, 1980 and she survives.

Bob was a good person who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a collector of model trains and guns and he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine, and four sons: Donald (Liz) Ousley of Peru, Indiana, Charles (Debbie) Ousley of Perrysburg, Indiana, Tony (Sheila) Ousley of Peru, Indiana, and Jarrod Marquell of Bunker Hill, Indiana. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Phillip (Maryann) Marquell of Florida.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Bob’s honor may be made to the Miami County Military Rites Team, VFW Post 2067, 151 East Washington Avenue, Peru, Indiana 46970.
