Robert Eugene Hudson

Robert Eugene Hudson, 95, of Peru, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at his daughter’s residence in Macy, Indiana.

He was born on October 28, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Asa Beck Hudson and Mildred (Kuntz) Hudson. Robert served in the United States Army National Guard as a Sergeant from February 1953-1955. He was retired from Schneider Electric where he worked in the maintenance department. He enjoyed tinkering around in his garage working on cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson collection and loved animals.

Robert is survived by his children: Robert Eugene Hudson Jr. of Peru, Indiana, Ronald Edward Hudson and wife Anne of Peru, Indiana, and Debra Armstrong and husband Eugene of Macy, Indiana. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 18 great, great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Tamra Jo Burgess, a granddaughter, Tosha Marie Hudson, and his sister, Betty Shondell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
