Obituary
Richard “Dickie” AKA Redneck Tew, 63, of Miami, Indiana passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 2, 2022 surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born on May 30, 1958 in Kokomo, Indiana to Amon Tew and Joanna Tew. He is survived by his life partner, Denise LaMott.
He enjoyed spending time watching NASCAR, sprint car, building model cars. He loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his Harley.
Richard is survived by his stepmother, Joan Tew, brother, Jeff (Tammy) Tew, step-sister, Pam (Jeff) Maish, step-brothers, Dale Sommers, Kevin (Patti) Sommers, Brian (Lisa) Sommers), daughter, Lindsay Tew, step-daughters, Morning (Mike) Pickens, Crystal Copp, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jake Tew.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 9, 2022 at 1pm with Pastor Jackson Moore officiating at Mount Zion Free Methodist Church, 13048 South 400 West, Kokomo, Indiana, 46901.
In honor of Richard, please wear racing or Colts attire.
