Reva Mae Craig-Bates

Reva Mae Craig-Bates, 93, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport, Indiana.

She was born on April 13, 1927 in Frenchburg, Kentucky; one of 13 children to William and Ollie Mullins.  She married Elwood C. Craig on September 10, 1949 in Frenchburg, Kentucky at the Missionary Baptist Church.  He preceded her in death in 1988.  She married Dewy Bates on April 15, 2000, and he preceded her in death in 2010.

Reva loved to play her guitar and sing.  She also loved her family – especially her grandkids.  Family holidays Thanksgiving and Christmas were very special to her, because she got to be with all of her family.  Reva was a great cook.

She had 3 children – Sharon Watson (David - deceased), Barbara White (Robert), and Donald Craig (Sharon); as well as 9 grandchildren: Brandy Watson, Brooke Watson (deceased), Dana Watson, Jason White (Kimberly), Grace Moore, Bryon White (Whitney), James Craig (Heather), Jerald Craig (deceased), and Jeremy Craig; also 12 great-grandkids, and 6 great-great-grandkids.

There will be no services at this time.  A memorial service is planned for a later date.  Interment will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport, Indiana.
