Ralph McQuinn

Ralph McQuinn, 72, of Macy passed away at 12:29 Sunday morning at his home surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on October 29, 1953 in Peru, Indiana to Harges and Amanda Fannie (Willis) McQuinn.

He married Peggy Sue (Browning) McQuinn on November 30, 1975. He was the love of her life for an amazing and wonderful 50 years. She survives.

Ralph worked at Schneider Electric (Square D) for 37 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. Loved his tractors and playing with his grandkids, Xander and Kalvin. Ralph loved his garden raising tomatoes and enjoyed tractor pulls.

In addition to his wife Peggy, he is survived by his son James (Joey) and wife Jennifer of Macy, Indiana, one brother, Keith (Georgia) McQuinn, three sisters, Jean (Freeman) Wireman of Peru, Hattie (Wayne) Nelson of Lakeland, Florida, and Chris McQuinn of Peru; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, son, Ralph (Ralphie) Harges McQuinn, Ray Willis, James McQuinn, Lily Harp, Polly McQuinn, Mary McCoy, infant Janice McQuinn, Irene Joseph.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor Dave Welsh officiating. Burial will take place at Plainview Cemetery in Macy, Indiana.
