Piper Jackson was born January 12, 1958, in Owenton, Kentucky to Jean H. Jackson and the late John W. Jackson SR.
Piper attended and graduated from Peru High School located in Peru, IN. Piper had many jobs, but most would remember her smiling face while working at Kmart and The Smoke House in Peru, IN. She also attended Wayman AME Church as youth until God called her home being a servant of the Lord. Piper was known by her radiant smile, infectious laugh and a kind heart. Piper was a member of some of the fraternal lodges around Peru. Piper will be truly and deeply missed by everyone she encountered.
Piper was preceded in death by her brothers, James F. Jackson, William (Poochie) Abbey, and sisters, Diana Pugh and Roxanne Jackson.
Piper leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Cecily Snow (Kenneth Snow), grandchildren, Kyran, Keshawn, Kerrion, sisters, Marlene Akiss, Patricia McCoy (Stan McCoy), Tracey Sykes, Tamara Reed, brother, John W. Jackson JR, a very special friend, John Greer, and a host of family and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held from 1pm to 2pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Christopher W. Riley officiating.
