Patsy Eileen Turner

Patsy Eileen (McCoy, Ray) Turner, 73, of Bremen, Indiana passed away on February 9, 2017 at her residence.

A homemaker, Patsy was born in Kokomo, Indiana on March 18, 1943 to Frieda Hogg McCoy Smith and John McCoy. She married Joseph Turner on August 28, 1988. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2011.

Patsy loved her grandchildren, travelling, jigsaw puzzles, and telling stories. She was a member of Bremen Missionary Church in Bremen, Indiana.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters: Paul (Julie) Ray of Utah (grandchildren: Jesee, Kaycee, Zachary, and Rylee); Steven (Elaine) Ray of Tennessee (grandchildren: Steven, Autumn, Tyler, and Brandon); Les (Judy) Turner of Indiana (grandchildren: Jason and Joshua); Laura (Gary) Troyer of Texas (grandchild: Tiffany); Sandra Ray of Kentucky (grandchildren: Kyle and Dominique); and Dessie Vaughn of Georgia (grandchildren: Caprise and Candice). Also, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers: Gloria (Ken) Briggs of Colorado, Sandra (Martin) Smith of Georgia, Donna (Ralph) Burch of Iowa, Larry (Marsha) McCoy of Illinois, and Fred Smith of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Also, five brothers and two sisters: Robert McCoy, James McCoy, David McCoy, Richard McCoy, John McCoy, Nancy McCoy, and Judy Solomon.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, with Pastor Paul Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Patsy’s honor to the Bremen Missionary Church in Bremen, Indiana or the American Cancer Society.
