Pam Latta Obituary

Pamela Darlene Latta, 60, of Bunker Hill, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:37 pm at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Pam was born in Peru, IN June 12, 1961 to Melvin and Florence (Ray) White.

Pam is survived by her husband, Steve. They spent 39 years together before God called her home. Also surviving is Pam’s daughter, Jessica Arnold (Chad), of Bunker Hill.  Pam is survived by brother, James White, Peru, brother, Mike Foster, California, and sister, Angie Rogers, Bunker Hill.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews that all held a special place in Aunt Pammy’s heart.

To know Pam was to love her. She had a way of touching the lives of each person she met in some way. Pam was the owner of Bunker Hill Mini Mart.  She always had an infectious smile for anyone that came through the doors there. You could often find her sharing jokes with her morning coffee crew, or lending a listening ear to anyone that came through the door during the day. Pam was loved by not only the adults, but also the youths of the community. Each person she met was special to her. Pam definitely had a servant’s heart and loved giving back to the people in her community any way she could, often doing so anonymously. The highlight of her year was her Christmas for the local youth at the Mini Mart that was held shortly after Thanksgiving. She loved watching the looks on the children’s faces as Santa arrived on the back of a fire truck.

Never one that chose to be in the spotlight, Pam’s wishes were to not have a viewing or a formal funeral. Her family would love for you to join them in a Celebration of her Life on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Bunker Hill Free Will Baptist Church. Friends/family are invited to come share their favorite memories of Pam with her family from 1-6 pm that day. There will be a service following at 6 pm. Pam’s daughter, Jessica, has a special request for those attending that wish to do so. She would love for those attending to jot down a favorite memory or two they have of her mom and bring them to the church. She will also have supplies at the church for those wishing to share there.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at FlowersLeedyAllen.com.
