Mildred S. Stambaugh, 74, of Peru, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at her residence.
She was born in Peru on January 7, 1946 to Vearl Woodrow and Annona (Zartman) Packard. She worked in Peru at W.C. Redmon, making baskets and bassinets, and she was a member of the Eagles and the VFW.
She is survived by her children: Donna Utley of Tullahoma, TN, Rose Stambaugh of Peru, Melissa Stambaugh of Peru, Stacy (Ricky) Wright of Peru, and James (Tabatha) Stambaugh of Kokomo; as well as grandchildren: Michael Duty, Ashley Duty, Frank Stambaugh, James Lee Stambaugh, Johnny Prater II, Crystal Stambaugh, Jennifer Shaffer, Joseph Beck, Alan Beck, Daniel Beck, Jami Stambaugh, James Stambaugh, Gage Brown, and Atreyu Stambaugh; and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers James “Jim” Packard of Kokomo, and Garrie Packard of Logansport; and sisters Dorris Clingaman of Kokomo, and Carol Wilburn of Rochester.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 1pm – 4pm on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 4pm, with grandson Daniel Beck officiating.
