Michael "Mike" Eugene Willis

Michael Eugene Willis, 64, of Peru passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

He was born in Peru on December 7, 1960 to the late Alford and Glenna (Rogers) Willis.

Michael retired from Western Reman. He also worked at Bryon Steam and Altrocast until they closed. Mike worked hard his whole life. He loved to fish, camp, pick on the guitar, and spend time with family and friends. He loves to help people. He had the biggest heart and was truly one of a kind. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Willis and Brenda Rader, a brother, Larry Willis, and mother and father, Glenna and Alford.

Mike is survived by his special friend of 25 years, Pamela Nelson, two brothers, Ronnie (Brenda) Willis, Dennis Willis, two grandchildren, Jason and Gracie Turney, two stepsons, Randal Madden and Gerald Turney, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Pastor Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
