Michael R. Mongosa

Michael R. Mongosa, 61, of Peru passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in Peru, Indiana on February 17, 1964 to Raymond Mongosa and Linda (Shank) Dempsey.

Michael enjoyed taking his grandsons fishing. He also enjoyed hunting, finding mushrooms, and spending time with his longtime friend, John Dunnagan. Michael loved and adored his dogs. He was a member of the Miami Nation of Indians.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Mongosa, son, Brian (Amanda) Mongosa, grandsons, Aiden and Linkin Walker, brother, Darren (Michele) Mongosa, and two nieces and three nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
