Maudella Smith Obituary

Mrs. Maudella Smith, age 93, of Peru, Indiana, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday afternoon, November 23, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor. Her husband of 75 years, Harry D. Smith, was by her bedside.

Maudella was born in September 19, 1927, in Patoka, Gibson County, Indiana. She was a daughter to John and Mary Ellen (Miller) Jones.

Maudella is survived by her husband, and was preceded in death by her sisters Lucille Gourley of Princeton, IN, and Mary C. Pickering of Peru.

She enjoyed family games, birds, and church activities.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private family services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 with Pastor Brad Eckerley officiating. Maudella will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
