Mary Catherine (Tolley) Sarver

Mary Catherine Sarver, 74, of Peru, Indiana passed away on September 20, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on September 11, 1949 in Rochester, Indiana to Samual H. Tolley and Agnes P. (Mann) Tolley.

Mary was the youngest of 9 children, she grew up in northern Miami county working on the family farm and the Tolley truck stop. She retired from Square D, Peru, Indiana after 30+ years of service. She loved traveling, dancing, playing games, and spending time with family and friends. Mary enjoyed helping others, she was the rock that held all the family together. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Peru, Indiana. Mary was a good mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Chad Maynard of Macy, five grandchildren, Radleigh Maynard (Peru), Andrew Maynard (Peru), Keylee Greene (North Carolina), Kevin Maynard (Twelve Mile), Lukas Maynard (Peru), and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Rose Meives (Peru) and Florence Barker (Kokomo). One brother, Phillip Tolley (Peru), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James Tolley (Macy) and Samuel L. Tolley (Peru), three sisters, Nancy Hummel (Michigan), Nina Wold (Peru), and Judy Stogsdill (Peru).

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, in Peru on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10am to noon. The funeral service will follow immediately after at noon. Burial will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport, Indiana.
