Mary Kay (Lines) Aikman

Mary Kay Aikman, 73, passed away on, Friday, September 9, 2022 at her residence.

She was born on October 1, 1948 in Peru, Indiana to the late Walter Lines and Rosella Peg (Moore) Helms. She married Richard Aikman and he preceeded her in death in February of 2016.

Mary was employed as a factory worker at Controls. She enjoyed playing cards and doing soduko puzzles. She was a member of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

She is survived by her sons; Les (Amy) Foster of Connecticut, Shea Aikman of Kokomo, Indiana, and Ethan (Brooke) Aikman of Greenwood, Indiana, grandchildren; Kloe Foster, Jaida Aikman, Hannah Cote, Cameron Cote, and sister Janet Helms of Wabash, Indiana.

Mary is preceeded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Becky (Don) Branson.

A celebration of life will be held at Flowers~Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana on September 13, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at 8pm with Nelson Bowyer officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Miami County Animal Shelter.
