Mark D. Fisher of Atlanta, Georgia, son of Norma and Bill Biddle of Peru and the late Dennis P. Fisher, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2015.
Mark was born and raised in Peru, where he graduated from Peru High School in 1976. He went on to graduate in 1980 from the University of Southern California, majoring in Cinematography. He has resided in Atlanta for the past 23 years working in restaurants and catering. Mark’s passions were cinema and theatre, and he greatly enjoyed making annual trips to New York City to see the latest Broadway shows. He was a fan of Cole Porter and his works. Mark had an engaging personality, a big heart and a zest for life. He was devoted to and loved by his family and close circle of friends who he brought much joy and happiness to.
Mark is survived by his mother and stepfather, Norma and Bill Biddle of Peru, brothers Tim (Cherlyn) Fisher of Bloomington and King (Sally) Fisher of Indianapolis, as well as nephews Jordan, Chase, Kendall and Zane Fisher, and niece Jessica Fisher. Mark will be greatly missed.
Friends may call from 12:00 noon till 2:00 PM Tuesday, with funeral at 2:00 PM at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Loft officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the Miami County Museum, Cole Porter Collection, 51 N. Broadway, Peru, IN 46970.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
