Marilyn A. (Paul) Snyder

Marilyn A. Snyder, 84, of Peru passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024.

She was born in Gilead, Indiana on April 29, 1940 to the late Edison and Evelyn (Swope) Paul.

Marilyn graduated from Gilead High School in 1958. She married the love of her life, Jack Snyder, on July 2, 1995 and he survives. In her free time, Marilyn really enjoyed playing cards with her friends and going to the casino.

She is survived by her husband, daughters, Kelly (Kevin) Merryman, Jackie Meeks, daughter-in-law, Judy Kellems, five grandchildren; Joshua (Claire) Kellems, Derek (Katie) Kellems, Anthony Wouster, Skylar Merryman, Carter Merryman, 6 great grandchildren, one sister, Bonita “Bonnie” Fretz, and one brother Terry Paul.

Marilyn is preceded in death her parents, her sons; Jackie Kellems and Jim Snyder, and brothers, Verdon Paul and Danny Paul.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru on Monday, December 30, 2024. The service will follow at 1pm. Interment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
