Margie D. Turpen

Margie D. Turpen, 79, of Peru passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born on October 25, 1939 in Wetumpka, Alabama.  She lived most of her life in Peru.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.  She loved cats and reading and puzzle books.

She is survived by her daughter Winifred Turpen of Peru, and three sons, David Turpen Jr. of Peru, George Turpen of Columbus, GA, and Russell Turpen of Peru.  Also surviving are several grandkids and great-grandkids.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana with Pastors Tony Winters and Mark Elliott officiating.  Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
