Louis "Sonny" Edward Kaiser

Louis “Sonny” Edward Kaiser, 82, of Peru passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born on March 27, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Louis Fredrick and Margaret Lean (Rogers) Kaiser.

Sonny married Hazel Townsend and she preceded him in death. He married Belinda Skipper and she survives.

He proudly served our country in the United States Army and later worked for Arnet Asphalt as a laborer.

In addition to his wife, Sonny is survived by his children; Eddie(Sharon) Kaiser of Peru, Henry Kaiser of Peru, Margaret (Brent) Koonce of Peru, Kathy (David) Campbell of Rochester, Jeremiah (Billie) Spencer of Kokomo, David Spencer Jr. of Greenwood, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 10am to 11:30am on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Military Rites will be provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team at the conclusion of visitation.

In lieu of flowers, love offerings may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
