Lori Anne Fuqua

Lori Anne Fuqua passed away on July 30 at 12:30 PM at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana after having many health struggles. 

Lori was born on December 2, 1971 in Peru, Indiana. She was born to Walter “Merle” and Maryann (Ramer) Fuqua, and she survives. 

Lori was a beautician over the course of more than 30 years. She owned and operated her own beauty salon, Hair Heaven. In later years, she cared for the elderly working part time for Senior Helpers, Caring Hands, and Comfort Keepers.

In addition to her mother, Lori is also survived by her daughters Tiffany Fuqua (fiancé Dakota Baker) and Kaylee Hileman (fiancé Chris Vinci). Also surviving are her brothers John (Bobbye) Fuqua and Randy (Kim) Fuqua, her niece and nephew Travis and Shayna Fuqua; as well as her two grandchildren, Kiara Hoff and Chase Miller.

She is preceded in death by her father, Walter “Merle” Fuqua and grandmother Hazel Irene Fuqua (Gillenwater) and several other beloved family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 4:00-6:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 6:00pm.
