Linda Taylor, 72, of Peru, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Peru on October 17, 1947, to George "Pat" and Mary Trook. She married the love of her life, Philip Taylor on September 9, 1988 and he survives.
Linda graduated from Peru High School. She worked as a bartender and waitress at the Tally Ho, Shanty Malone's and The Paramount where she made lifelong friends including Linda Brenner and Annie Fivecoate.
Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. She was a great cook. Family and friends looked forward to her monthly birthday dinners and desserts.
Linda is survived by her mother Mary Trook, Peru; daughters Carrie Danielsen, Robbie Selleck and her husband Jason both of Peru and Kari Blue and her husband Zach of Kokomo, Indiana; also son Ted Danielsen of Bloomington, Indiana and son-in-law Earl Loftus of Peru. She is also survived by loving grandchildren Andrew Wray and wife Beth of Franklin, Tennessee, Ashleigh Roberts, Alex Selleck, Jacob Loftus, Nick Loftus, Evan Loftus all of Peru; Thorin Danielsen, Odin Danielsen and Christian Danielsen all of Bloomington and Chloe Blue of Kokomo. Sisters Patricia Bigler, Port St. Lucie, Florida and Kim Trook, Peru. She was preceded in death by her father.
Linda will be missed dearly by Fannie Barrett and the Sunday group that gathers at Hardee's. Linda was a loyal friend to many extended family members and longtime friends.
At her request there will not be any services.
