LaCinda "Cindy" Kaye (Ernsberger) Korba

LaCinda “Cindy” Kaye Korba, 65, of Peru, passed into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

She was born on January 2, 1957 in Bremen, Indiana to Carl and Peggy (Fisher) Ernsberger.  She married Ronald Korba on March 25, 1979 and he survives.  Cindy had worked at Square D as an assembler, and was a member of the Eastpointe Bible Church.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed crafting and cooking.  She was a very generous person, and she loved the Lord.

She is survived by her husband and their children: Cassie Korba and Matthew Korba, both of Peru; and grandchildren Cadence Korba, Aria Korba, Isaiah Korba, Urijah Korba, and Alora Korba.  Also surviving are brother Ken (Janice) Ernsberger of Bremen, and sisters Kathy Ernsberger of Nappanee, Beth (Omar) Helmuth of Elkhart, Jackie (Steve) Hunsberger of Wakarusa, Dianna (Pat) Riley of Fort Wayne, and Carla Yoder of Niles, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Eastpointe Bible Church, 1540 East Paw Paw Pike, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will follow at 1pm, with Pastor Jim Butler officiating.  Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.

Memorial donations may be made to the Miami County YMCA.
