Kenneth was born on October 25, 1922 in Wabash, Indiana to John and Carrie Day. After graduation, Kenneth served in the United States Army during WW2. On July 20, 1963, he married JoAnn Friemann. On February 7th, 1964 and February 3rd, 1965 respectively, he welcomed his two beautiful daughters. He retired from Peru Utilities where he worked for approximately 25 years.

Kenneth enjoyed traveling with his family. He and JoAnn spent their winters in Texas after retirement. He had a passion for the outdoors and took great pride in his flowers and gardening, he also loved taking daily walks with his beloved dogs. Kenneth was known by many for his large collection of clown décor and his “clown room.” He was a kind and generous man, you would never leave his house empty handed.
