Kathryn Joleen (Patton) Hartisch

Kathryn Joleen (Patton) Hartisch, 72, of Peru passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Kindred North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born on December 17, 1950 to the late Woodrow and Lola (Buck) Patton. Kathryn met the love of her life on March 1, 1983 and they were later married by Rev. George McCarty on September 26, 1987. They had 33 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death on March 16, 2016.

Kathryn enjoyed going to the casino and playing the slot machines. She loved her dogs and her family more than anything.

Kathryn is survived by her children; Phil (Melissa) Bowen of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michelle (Gary) Sautter of Peru, Indiana,  3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 4 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters, siblings; Ronald (Ruby) Patton,  William Patton,  Ruth Patton (Carmel Riggle) all of Peru, Indiana, Linda (Bud) Skinner of Lathrop, Missouri, Susie (Mike) Faiola of West Haven, Utah, Sharon (Paul) Young of Layton, Utah, brother-in-law, Joe (Pam) Casper of Heber City, Utah, special niece, Olivia Patton, and several other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings; Gloria Casper, Wayne (Carol) Patton, Mike Patton, Tim Patton, Robert Patton, and brother-in-law Kirk Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 1pm to 2pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 2pm with Rev. George McCarty officiating. Burial will take place at Salem Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
