Judy Loftus Obituary

Judy Ann Loftus, 73, of Peru passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Aperion Care in Peru.

She was born in Rensselaer, Indiana on March 15, 1945 to Fred Maggert and Ethel Maggert (Cox). Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.

Judy is survived by her children Dawnetta Weigle DeWitt of Tuscon, Arizona, and James Weigle of Arizona. Also surviving are grandchildren: Charles A. Shockley Jr. of Delphi, Indiana, Anna-Marie Shockley of Peru, Joshua Allen DeWitt of Tuscon, Arizona, Kurtis Edward DeWitt of Indiana, and Stormy Veronica Weigle of Paducah, Kentucky; and great-grandchildren: Ashlynn Alivia Nichole Westgate of Peru, Mary Weigle of Paducah, Kentucky, Conor DeWitt of Indiana, and Jasper DeWitt of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Wilma Briggens, and a daughter Angelina Lenious.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
