Judith Kay Spohn, 77, of Peru, Indiana went peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
She was born in Lafayette, Indiana on April 15, 1943 to Mary Lou (Vianco) and Gysbert DeWit. She graduated from Peru High School in 1961. She married Jimmie (Pinky) Spohn on November 27, 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to her grandkids and great-grandkids sporting events. She also loved her dogs and cats, bowling with the senior bowlers, and going out for lunch every day.
Surviving family includes a daughter Michele (Jamie) Stewart, a son Donald Warder, a son Teddy (Shellee) Spohn, and a daughter Shannon (Chris) Spohn-Fowler. Also surviving are her grandchildren Stacie (DJ) Kunkle, Christopher (Taylour) Stewart, Brittany (Justin) Montel, Kylee (Zach) Gilkeson, Shanna and Shaina Schweigen, Matthew Stewart, Adreana and Greysen Spohn, Kyle Reed, and Cristina Fowler; as well as 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Calvary Temple Church, 2908 W. 200 N. Peru, IN. Prayer service will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Palmer officiating.
