Judith Joyce Maggard, 80, of Peru, passed away at 3:45am on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at The Wyndmoor of Marion.
She was born in Peru on September 11, 1940 to William Charles Adams and Martha (Morrisey) Adams. She married Marvin Maggard, and he preceded her in death in 2004. Judith was retired from the production line at Square D.
She is survived by children Tami (David) Garner of Florida, Chance Hanaway of Pendleton, Dee Dee Johnson of Peru, and stepson Greg Maggard of Florida; as well as 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Pam Causey of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Kimberly Hanaway, and two sisters Carol Baker and Charlotte VanDdriesche.
Visitation will be held from 12pm – 2pm on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Jeff Hierholzer officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
