Beloved Father, Son, Brother and Friend Johnathan Paul Maldonado, who was better known as JP, went to be with the Lord on July 31st, 2023. He was 40.
JP was born and raised on the south side of Chicago by his beloved mother Connie Bentley (Combs). He later settled down in Peru, Indiana where he fathered two beautiful daughters.
Know by most as a “Girl dad” to Mackenzie Maldonado and Jocelynn Maldonado. He was preceded in death by his baby girl Jocelynn Maldonado, Grandparents Bueal and Ruby Combs and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.
JP was a caring brother to Robert Maldonado (Amy Maldonado), Michael Combs (Mea Wolf), Dora Mendez (Christopher Mendez), Thomas Jr, Bentley (Mary Bentley).
JP adored his nieces and nephews Arriana Maldonado, Mila Mendez, Robert Jr Maldonado, Bradyn Lambert, Xavier Higginbothom, Dalton Ward, Austin Combs and great niece Amara Maldonado. JP loved every single one of his cousins dearly and was a true friend to all.
A visitation will be held for Johnathan and Jocelynn on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 10am to 2pm at Zion Chapel Church, 915 South Broadway in Peru, Indiana. The funeral service will follow at 2pm with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Internment will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Logansport, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
