Joan R. (Thomas) Fallstick

Joan R. Fallstick, 90, of Peru, passed away at 4:30am on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

She was born in Peru on November 11, 1929 to George L. and Mary E. (Hiers) Thomas.  She married Charles Fallstick, and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1994.

Joan retired as a laborer from Square D.  She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.  She enjoyed painting, drawing, and music.  She was also an animal lover.

She is survived by her children: Karen Poston of Peru, Brian (Donna Strickland) Fallstick of Peru, Stephen Fallstick of Peru, Stewart Fallstick of Peru, and Lori Fallstick (Marcie Garn) of Indianapolis; as well as three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers: Robert Thomas, Joseph Thomas, George W. Thomas, John Thomas, and James Thomas; and sisters: Mary Thomas, Martha Thomas, Edith Thomas, Agnes Thomas, and Rosanna Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 58 West Fifth Street, Peru, Indiana, with Father Adam Mauman officiating.  Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
