Jerry Lee Jones II

Jerry Lee Jones II, 52, of Peru passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Peru on December 6, 1966 to Jerry Lee and Joanetta (Townsend) Jones.  He married Crystal (Roberts) Sons Jones on August 25, 2018 and she survives.

A wonderful son and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Jerry worked as an LPN at Wellbrooke of Wabash.  He loved his job and nursing.

He is survived by his parents and his wife, as well as his children: Dustin (fiancé Cassie) Jones of Etna Green, Bobbi (Marcus) Brown of Peru, Kasey (fiancé Jamie) Jones of Denver, and Sara Anderson of Bunker Hill; and step-daughters Amber Fulkerson and Amanda Heider, both of South Bend.  Also, a brother Jeffrey (Mary) Jones of Bremen.

Visitation will be held from 11am – 12noon on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Zion Chapel, 915 South Broadway, Peru.  A celebration of life will follow at 12noon, with Pastor Rod Correll officiating.

Jerry’s family thanks God for giving them another 31 years with him after his heart transplant.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Indiana Donor Network.
