Janet L. Richmond, 82, Peru, passed away on April 1, 2012 at 11:40am at Vibra Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was the most devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother a family could have. She was a life-long Peru resident and a member of the First Baptist Church. She married John William Holler July 18, 1947. He passed away on January 14, 1969. She married Robert Douglas Richmond on April 7, 1966. She retired from Delco Electronics on April 30th 1988 after twenty-six years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by two sons Ronald B. Holler and Rodney T. Holler, one step grandson Corey Cable, one brother David Robertson, three sisters Sharon Powell, Dorthy Bailey, and Jo-Diane Nimes. She is survived by her husband Robert D. Richmond (Peru), three sons William Holler (Ginny) Peru, IN, Robert Holler (Doreen) Peru, IN, and Brian Richmond (Peru), five grandchildren Justin Holler (Warsaw), Mellissa Holler (Peru), Alexis Holler (Lafayette), Bobby Holler (Peru), and Molly Holler (Peru), three step-grandchildren Kimberly Dressel (Michael, Columbia MO) Michelle Seymoure (Patrick, Peru), Rob Sucharski (Peru), and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters Doris Judy (Robert, deceased, Denver), Kay Eckelbarger (Bob, Peru), Jean Robertson (Lakeland, FL), Jane Woods (Paul, Aukland New Zealand), and four brothers Ed Robertson (Tammy, Kokomo), Jack Robertson (Ruth, Southern Charleston WV), Dean Robertson (Renee', Ashland KY), and James Robertson (Ashland KY). Services are entrusted to the Flowers~Leedy Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, April 5, at Flowers~Leedy. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday, April 6, at the First Baptist Church (53 East Main Street, Peru). Pastor Robert Adelsperger will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
